PAIA & POPIA Manual.

1. Purpose of the PAIA Manual

This Manual is published in accordance with Section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). PAIA gives effect to the South African constitutional right of access to any information held by the State or by another person where that information is required for the exercise or protection of any rights.

3. Guide of the Information Regulator

The Information Regulator of South Africa has compiled a Guide containing information required by a person wishing to exercise any right contemplated in PAIA. The Guide is available on the Regulator’s official website (inforegulator.org.za).

4. Categories of Records Held by DeWet Technologies

We maintain records under the following categories for statutory and operational purposes:

• Commercial Records: Contracts, client service agreements, website hosting logs, project specification documentation.
• Financial Records: Invoices, payment receipts, bank statements, tax records compliance.
• Technical & Intellectual Property Records: Source code repositories, photography asset archives, domain setup registries.

5. Procedure to Request Access to Records

To request access to records held by DeWet Technologies, a requester must complete the prescribed Form 2 (Request for Access to Record) as published by the Information Regulator and submit it to our Information Officer at info@dewetech.co.za.

• The request must provide sufficient detail to identify the record and the requester.
• The requester must state the right they seek to exercise or protect.
• Prescribed statutory request fees may apply as determined by the Information Regulator.
